{How to book your leading Farnham Photographer, for your family photoshoot this year}

This article describes my booking process for a family photoshoot, so you can get the best out of my service, as your leading local Farnham Photographer.

1. AVAILABILITY:

Weekend sessions tend to book up 2-3 months in advance, so get in touch early to avoid disappointment.

Weekdays I have a little more flexibility in my calendar, so last minute bookings are sometimes possible. 

Weekday sessions cost less too. : )

2. WHAT TIME OF DAY TO HAVE YOUR SHOOT:

During the summer months, the midday sun can be too strong & unflattering for a photoshoot.

Instead, I offer early mornings between 8.30am – 11am OR evening shoots 2-3 hours before sunset.

You might like to consider a morning shoot with preschool aged children OR a summer’s evening shoot with older kids.

3. HOW DOES THE BOOKING PROCESS WORK?

Once we’ve had an initial chat via email or over the phone, you’ve decided you’d like to book in and we’ve found an ideal date/time for your session, I’ll start the booking process.

I send you a link to your client portal which contains: an invoice for your session fee; your session contract; and; a family questionnaire.

Once you have paid your session fee, signed your contract and filled in your family questionnaire you’re all booked in for your photo shoot!

4. WHAT IS A SESSION FEE?

The session fee acts as your booking fee and covers your photographers time on the day of your shoot and any pre-session location visits plus admin.

5. WHAT IS A FAMILY QUESTIONNAIRE?

Most importantly, it’s a chance to get to know you a little bit before your session. It’s a simple 5 minute questionnaire.  I’ll ask you for your children’s ages, everyone’s names, what hobbies and what you enjoy doing together most as a family. There’ll be a place to tell me about any pets who are coming to the session too. : )
