Feel good on your family photo day

Are you already feeling anxious about your family photo day?

Perhaps you’ve not even booked the photographer yet?

I know how that feels!

I’ve put off booking big things before too. Mostly because I won’t know what I am getting myself in to.

I will worry about whether or not it will go well. My head will swim in circles!

Am I making the right decision? Did I choose the right one? Will I enjoy this or will I regret this decision?

These are common worries and if you’re considering booking a family photo session this year, I’m here to help you overcome some of your worries. : )

Because, I know you want to feel good for your family photo day.

Imagine this scenario:

Imagine how good it would feel turning up to your family photo day looking forward to this time with your family; feeling relaxed and content in the knowledge that you’re in good hands and you’ve invested in the right family photographer.

It’s the morning of your family photo day and before getting in the car you catch your breath for a moment after wiping the mud off your daughters second change of socks for the morning. You really hope your curvy bits won’t curve in the wrong direction today for the photographer. You just want everything to be as great as you’d envisaged it!

But immediately after thinking those thoughts you remember the calm, reassuring voice of your photographer, reminding you on the phone the week prior to your session, …..‘you are in experienced hands’.

She knows all about guiding you to your most flattering angle and her photoshop skills and hawk like eyes will find and eradicate all signs of any stains on socks (or toddler dribble….oh especially toddler dribble!). You remember you are in experienced hands.

When you had that first phone call with her the kids where jumping on the sofa and crashing around. She wasn’t fazed by the background noise. Instead she was focused on your concerns about how the kids might misbehave on the day of the session and how we can work together to overcome any behaviour issues on the day…..leaving you feeling confident and reassured.

Even when she sent you advice about how to plan your wardrobe and location suggestions, you felt as if your family’s style and personality were central to all of the personal advice you were given.   And that’s the thoughtful and considered level of service you had even before your session has begun!

It wasn’t just words either, you could look through her website and see ample examples of beautiful family images and they were families you could really relate to as well.

You were booking this session because you were inspired to plan a family wall art display for your home. You knew it might be a little beyond your budget this year but the product list she sent you was full of beautiful products, all clearly priced, so you felt you could visualise what you wanted and create a budget ahead of time.

She was really someone you could talk to about all of these things. Relaxed, softly spoken and down to earth. Just your kind of photographer.

You know this is exactly what I do for clients, right?  : )

Each step towards creating beautiful finished wall art for you and your home, are steps that we work through together…..and its my absolute pleasure to serve you throughout this process.

What one Mum had to say about my pre-session service

Here’s what one mum had to say after her experience of working with me: “She was….super helpful with my endless questions…”

It’s satisfying to know I am the kind of family photographer that can listen and provide answers to all of your questions, ensuring you feel reassured before you book in AND prior to your session. : )
