Children’s Photographer in Hampshire

{Take 2: more photography adventures from The New Forest}

A few weeks back now we took a family trip down to The New Forest and it was a sneaky chance for me to try out some different types of light and locations with the boys. We all thoroughly enjoyed exploring in the woods and walking across the Heathland with the free roaming ponies. This first shot of Bailey was directly across from our hotel so it was perfect for a morning walk and of course puddle jumping. When I look at the shots I took on this trip they are quite varied and represent just a few key moments in the story that was our weekend. I think I was having too much fun playing to pick up the camera too often …. and I guess when its family time thats exactly how it should be. 08SarahAngelPhotography_newForestAll of us were in awe of this very big tree that was growing out on an angle and covered in this very spongy bright green moss.

This shot of Bailey in the Brackens was taken during a game of hide and seek. It was the perfect height for the boys to hide in, whilst us grown ups ended up with muddy knee’s crouching down low! : )

I love how the Bracken formed this lovely soft bronze textured back drop.

Late Autumn sun light low in the sky …… and both boys stuck in the mud!

It’s such a great feeling to have gotten out and tried a few new things with my camera on this trip away. I think it pays to step out of being a London Children’s Photographer once in a while just to see things differently, in a very different kind of outdoor landscape and in some very different kinds of light!
