{Aidan and Mummy in the Apple Orchards}

You might recognise this lovely mother and son duo from an Autumn Session I did with them last year.   Aidan is looking very grown up now and he is about to get a new baby brother or sister!  Mum came to me at the start of the summer asking if I could take some maternity pictures for her and include some portraits of the two of them together.  I really adore my job as a photographer in general and being a maternity photographer for a second time Mum keeps me on my toes as we had to be very creative about keeping Aidan occupied and happy whilst Mum had her moment alone in front of the camera.  Aidan was a great boy for his Mum. He was incredibly patient whilst I captured these shots of Mum and the portraits of the two of them together make me melt.

The Apple Orchards in Harrow at the Grims Dyke Hotel seemed like the perfect place for their session as it created this beautiful fresh green backdrop and there were lots of little paths, a gate (Aidan loves opening and closing gates!) and an old green house for Aidan to explore. I think Mum looks perfectly radiant and I wish her all the best for the birth of her second child. Aidan, I can tell you are going to be such a great (little) big brother.  The story doesn’t end here.
