Covid 19 Safety measures
Current status
(This page is regularly updated as per government guidance and was last updated on 1st March, 2021.)
Outdoor Doggy Portrait Sessions will resume from the 8th of March, so long as your session is for one doggy owner and dog.
If you have a gift voucher for my special Christmas offer, expiring in March, please get in touch to dicuss an extension to the voucher expiry date.
Outdoor family sessions will resume for groups of up to 5 members of the same household outdoors froom the 29th of march.
Larger family groups from more than one household will be able to take place from 17th of May however this will be subject to Gov. confirmation soon.
Newborn baby sessions at home: are due to resume from the 12th of April. Please get in touch now if you are wishing to have a session before Autumn as my diary is filling up fast with older babies born during lockdown.
Beginners Photography Workshops are currently running 1-1 on zoom. In person workshops 1-1 can resume again from the 12th of April indoors and outdoors. My indoor group workshops will resume from the 21st of June.
What will your outdoor sessions be like, with Covid safety measures in place, outside of lockdown?
When attending a photo shoot with me, the safety of your family and of my own family is significantly important. I'm sure you will agree, it’s our collective priority, during this time, to help minimise the spread of Covid 19. I have therefor put in place the following measures, for all of us to follow.
You will still get a warm welcome when we meet up for your session but instead of a handshake or a high five with your children, we’ll be smiling and waving from at least a 1 metre plus distance from each other.
What will your Beginners Photography Workshop be like with Covid safety measures in place outside of lockdown?
Workshops are now only running 1-1 until the 21st of June. From the 12 of April we are in a spacious living area which is well ventilated and doors opening out to an outside space which we will use, weather depending. Social distancing is in place and we will wear masks if you wish. Alternatively, weather dependant we can run the entire workshop outdoors.
My cancelation policy
I have created greater flexibility in my schedule should you need to reschedule due to yourself or a family member (or anyone else you have been in contact with), having any Covid 19 Symptoms or requiring to shield from coming into contact with a Covid positive person. Your session (or your beginners photography workshop) will be rescheduled at the earliest possible and available time and to suit your family.
If you are already booked in for a session or workshop with me, I will notify you immediately of any changes to Covid 19 measures, as per government guidance, should they affect your booked session.
WORKING SAFELY WITH FAMILIES
YOUR outdoor session
Prior to your session:
- I will contact you in the morning, prior to your shoot, to check if anyone attending the session (or anyone you have been in contact with), is displaying any Covid symptoms. If so, however mild, we will reschedule your shoot for another day.
- I will also reschedule your shoot if myself or anyone in my household is experiencing even the most mild of Covid symptoms.
- My camera equipment will be cleaned thoroughly in the morning before your session.
- I will attend your session in my own car, avoiding public transport.
During your session:
- We will be at a safe 1m+ distance from each other for the duration of your shoot.
- I also use a long lens when photographing you so at no time will we come into close contact with each other whilst I am photographing you.
- I will use hand sanitiser before, during and after our session together.
YOUR BABY AT HOME session
Prior to your session:
- I will contact you in the morning, prior to your shoot, to check if anyone attending the session (or anyone you have been in contact with), is displaying any Covid symptoms. If so, however mild, we will reschedule your shoot for another day.
- I will also reschedule your shoot if myself or anyone in my household is experiencing even the most mild of Covid symptoms.
- My camera equipment will be cleaned thoroughly in the morning before your session.
- I will attend your session in my own car, avoiding public transport.
During your session:
- I use a long and mid-range lenses when photographing you and your baby, so at no time will we come into close contact with each other whilst I am photographing you.
- At all other times we will remain a safe 1m+ distance from each other in your home.
- Where social distancing is not possible, I will wear a face mask.
- Rooms will be well ventilated wherever possible.
- I will not handle your baby or any of their belongings.
- I will use hand sanitiser before, during and after our session together
YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP
Prior to your workshop:
- I will contact you in the morning, prior to your workshop, to check if you are displaying any Covid symptoms. If so, however mild, we will reschedule your workshop for another day.
- I will also reschedule if myself or anyone in my household is experiencing even the most mild of Covid symptoms.
- My camera equipment and our workshop space will be cleaned thoroughly in the morning before your workshop.
During your workshop:
- We will be at a safe 1m+ distance from each other for the duration of your workshop in a well ventilated space and the option to work outdoors for part of the workshop.
- I have a large i-mac screen so distance will not affect any demonstrations.
- I will use hand sanitiser before, during and after our time together.
- Any shared equipment will be sanitised before and after handing it over to you.
