Are you ready for a little family adventure?

....and perhaps it's been a while since you've updated your frame displays with some recent family photographs? If thats the case then these mini sessions are perfect for you.

I run my Mini sessions as a special offer on a limited number of days each year. Usually I only offer one or wo days in the Spring and Summer.

Locations are slected for their good light, seasonal ellements & their chosen with easy access in mind for our little ones, so hey don't have to walk far. Location info is given 2-3 days prior to the session as some of my most special locations are privately owned.

A mini session is suitable for a maximum of two adults and 5 family members in total (doggies are very welcome as extra too).

After the shoot you will receive a link to a private online gallery where you can browse & select digital images, fine art gift prints, wall art frames, & more.

Mini session’s are perfect if you are:

  • after just a few images which will be ready to display in your own frames at home;
  • trying an outdoor session for the first time;
  • wanting more regular professional photos.
  • a busy family after a lively session;

Will The session feel rushed?

No, not at all! I have been running mini sessions for over 10 years now and I have a gentle routine that is streamlined without feeling like you are on a conveyor belt with other families. I also leave some wiggle room between sessions incase anyone had a last minute nappy change or emergency snack break during the session.

What if it rains on the day of our session?

I always ask families to try to be available for a back up mini session date which I tell you about a the time of booking. I check the forecast the day prior to your session and contact you should the weather look too unpleasant for out photoshoot. We will reschedule in the event of bad rain (and extreme heatwaves too!) If it's just a light drizzle the session can go ahead, otherwise I offer you the rescheduled date or a refund if you are unable to reschedule within a 6 month period.

WHAT if my toddler runs away & doesn't want to be photographed.

I have two children myself and I have photographed hundreds of toddlers over the years. I aim to keep my sessions light-hearted and playful, with a few tricks up my sleeve which can have your toddler enjoying their session as part of the family, no problem at all.

how can I curb my own anxiety about being photographed?

My mini sessions are very popular with families who are trying an outdoor photoshoot for the first time and often, for mums, it will be your first time in front of the camera since having children. I am experienced at helping to guide you to your best and most comfortable angle so you can look and feel great at your session. If you have any particular worries then please do let me know. I can help you to really enjoy your session and feel really happy with the finished results!

WhaT sould we wear for our session?

Once you are booked in I send you advice on what to wear. And, if you are still not sure then you are very welcome to send me a few snaps of wardrobe options. I am always on hand to help and support with advice.

Can our doggie join in too?

Well trained doggies are welcome to attend mini sessions. They're a part of your family, after all!

If you're Doggy is still learning to follow basic commands or get's a bit over excited I would recommend you book in for a full family session instead, giving us a little more time to get the desired shots at your session.

I didn't expect it to feel so easy!

Why didn't we book this sooner!

It was fun (even my husband said so!)

I didn't expect it to feel so easy.

Sarah was very friendly and had us all enjoying the session.
