Family photography in Farnham  { 12 Images of Christmas Day Two }

From time to time over the years I have posted a blog featuring our family photography in Farnham, Surrey. My Image for day two is a favourite one of my two boys holding day 22 and day 24 of their Advent book calendar.

Three Christmases ago, we started a very special Christmas tradition wrapping up 24 Christmas books.  Each day the boys would unwrap one to read before bedtime.

I took a few photographs to celebrate just how much they enjoyed opening each of the wrapped books in the build up to Christmas day.  You can see the original blog post here.

They loved it so much so we have carried it on as a family tradition every Christmas since then.  This year, now that both boys are a little bit older, I have passed on some of the baby books and introduced some new titles.

Now when I look back at these photographs I immediately notice the difference in my photography skills however I am really delighted to have made the effort to photograph them enjoying books at this very young age.

I wish I had posted some larger pictures in the original blog so I am re-posting my favourites here now.

To be honest I think this year we have gone a bit advent-crazy.  We have a lovely felt advent pocket calendar which gets filled with little chocolates each year. We have our book calendar and now this year the boys have Star Wars Lego advent calendars too!

When I go back and look at our family photography in Farnham blog posts I have noticed that I have neglected to post much in this section here so I will endeavour to post more about our activities in 2017!
