{ Farnham family photographer }
As a way of opening my shop doors (so-to-speak) as your newest Farnham family photographer, I am celebrating with a very special Black Friday offer of 50% off a family session in 2017.
This offer is going to be very exclusive however, with only 10 sessions available at this very discounted price. It will be a case of first come first served from 9am on Friday the 25th of November 2016 until midnight on Sunday the 27th of November 2016.
As I write this the rain is hitting the windows of my new Farnham office and the wind is biting! It is definitely winter time now. How time has flown since my family and I moved to Farnham at the end of this Summer.
The Christmas countdown is now on and I know many of us will be starting to think about Christmas. Some of you may even have begun preparations and gift shopping! If that sounds like you then well done! I am just about starting a few lists, have been thinking about our family Christmas card and I may have just bought some wrapping paper!
It’s easy for us parents to spend so much of our time rushing around during the holiday season. I know we will soon be swept up in the usual present buying, meal planning and Christmas card writing efforts. My two boys have both just reached school age so I thought it was a good age to start talking to them about what type of family traditions make Christmas special in our home, in an attempt to hold onto what is valuable and important to us as a family.
The boys want to make Christmas mince pies for Santa and leave a carrot out for the reindeer on Christmas Eve. They were also very excited about the Christmas lights being switched on in Farnham last weekend. We all think they are the prettiest Christmas lights ever! This will also be the first year we plan to go ice skating together.
Whilst they are still pawing over each new toy catalogue that falls through the letter box, wondering what they might get from Santa this year, it’s good to know that their thoughts and wishes for a wonderful family Christmas are simple and encompass time together as a family.
For a couple of years now I have been wrapping up 24 Christmas books for the boys, to unwrap one each night during advent. You can see some pictures of them enjoying their books, from a few years ago, before we lived in Farnham, here.
And, as a family photographer I always use the Christmas break to put together our latest family album. I will also sneak in a few fun filled afternoons with the kids either making crafts that involve family photographs or simply looking at family photographs, sharing stories and special memories.
I really do believe that when we celebrate our family memories and those of our older relatives, we are demonstrating to our children that we value one another. So, with our own family photography firmly at the top of my Christmas agenda I welcome you to consider how you might use photography to celebrate your family this Christmas. And if you feel that your kids might be the only two people in the majority of your pictures over 2016 then all the more reason to consider hiring a professional family photographer in 2017.
Hiring a family photographer is a significant family investment and it is a decision that requires careful consideration. If you are even just thinking about booking then please get in touch using the contacts page here on my website and request my product price list, as this discounted offer is for my session fee only. Please also call me on 07903772960 if you wish to chat further about your families requirements prior to the Friday offer which, don’t forget, is the 25th of November 2016!
