WHAT ARE MINI SESSIONS?
Mini sessions are a special offer which happen on just one or two days in each of the less chilly seasons in the year: Spring, Summer & Autumn.
Locations are carefully chosen for their good light, seasonal scenery & they'll be easy for even the littlest of legs to walk to. Exact location info is given 2-3 days prior to the session as some of my most special locations are privately owned.
A mini session is suitable for no more than 2 adults and up to 5 family members (& doggies are very welcome too).
After the shoot you will receive a link to a private online gallery where you can browse & select digital images, fine art gift prints, wall art frames, & more.
Mini session’s are ideal if you are:
- after just a few images for printing and displaying in your own frames at home;
- trying an outdoor session for the first time;
- wanting more regular professional photos.
- a busy family after a lively session;

FAQs
where do Sessions Take Place?
Sessions are always within a 30 min drive of the location stated when booking. 1-2 days prior to your session I send out the exact location info, which I will have sources especially for our shoot to ensure locations are looking their best.
Will The session feel rushed?
No, not at all! I have been running mini sessions for over 8 years now. I have a gentle routine that is streamlined without feeling like you are on a conveyor belt with other families. I also leave some wiggle room between sessions incase anyone needs a last minute nappy change or a snack break during the session.
What if it rains on the day of our session?
I always ask families to try to be available for a back up mini session date which I tell you about a the time of booking. I contact you early morning, if the weather is too unpleasant. We will reschedule in the event of bad rain (and extreme heatwaves too!) If it's just a light drizzle the session can go ahead, otherwise I offer you the rescheduled date or a refund if you are unable to reschedule within a 6 month period.
WHAT if my toddler runs away & doesn't want to be photographed.
I have two children myself and I have photographed hundreds of toddlers over the years. I aim to keep sessions light-hearted and playful so we can have your toddler enjoying their session, no problem at all.

how can I curb my own anxiety about being photographed?
My mini sessions are very popular with families who are trying an outdoor photoshoot for the first time and often, for mums, it can be your first time in front of the camera since having children. I'm experienced in helping to guide you to your best and most comfortable angle so you can look and feel great at your session. If you have any particular worries then please do let me know.
WhaT sould we wear for our session?
If you've received my emails from the VIP waiting list you will have an email with advice on what to wear. Please ask me to send it again if you haven't received it. And, if you're still not sure, you're very welcome to send me a few snaps of wardrobe options for a second opinion. ; )
Can we bring Grandparents / Aunties / Uncles to our session?
Sessions are limited to 2 adults and up to 5 family members in total. And if you have a doggie he/she is very welcome to come along too. If you have a larger family or wish to included extended family at your session I recommend you book a private session with me on another day so I have the extra time to create the photographs you will all be most happy with.
