So August is here and is anyone else feeling like summer might just pass you by unless you get out there and make the most of it? Despite having had a pretty good run of BBQ’s, picnic’s, a beach holiday and numerous outdoor adventures so far; I have recently found myself building a mental check list of all the summer activities we still need to get out and enjoy!.png)
So as well as working hard to make the most of the remainder of the summer with my boys, I thought it would be fun to celebrate the great outdoors here through my website, on my Facebook page and through all my marketing efforts this month. Get ready to be inspired! ….. I hope!
I am a big advocate of outdoor play and how this enhances our kids outlook on the world and how good it makes all of us feel. I remember all the outdoor games I played as a child and how lucky we were to be able to roam far and wide across the suburb were I grew up in New Zealand. Times have changed and we live in a different era and it can be all too easy to let television and indoor activities take over so I am always seeking out ways for our boys to have big adventures outside.
Whilst building a fun summer to-do list for our family I have managed to hatch a few exciting photography plans that I think many of you might be very interested in! I usually try to have one special offer on the go at any one time in the year, as I think a little good will goes a long way! But, after such a busy period over spring and early summer I barely had time to keep up with my Facebook announcements and I truly neglected my routine of having a special offer (of some sorts) every other month or so! Summer Location Competition
Tell me about your favourite local location to win a family session there. Yes, it does need to be a local location so this would be anywhere within a 20 – 30 minute drive of Pinner / Harrow / Ruislip / Northwood area around London’s HA5. It’s got to be somewhere extra special and surprising with an interesting vista that looks particularly lovely in the late summer months. To enter you need to take a picture of the location and capture the address either using ‘sat-nav’ or some other method. Like my Facebook page (if you haven’t done so already!) and using Facebook send me a message containing the picture and details of the location as well as a few lines about your family. This competition will close at the end of August. The most interesting and unique entry will be the winner. The winning family must take their session before the end of September. .png)
Maternity Offer
For the remainder of the Summer and early Autumn I am offering a free mini maternity session (worth £75) with every local Newborn session booked. This offer is open until the 23rd of October and the Maternity session will need to have been completed by this date. To find out more about my Maternity sessions click here.
If you wish to book a newborn session, I currently have availability in August and some of September, however October is starting to look full up (an October baby boom here in and around Pinner?), so if you are due soon and you are interested in booking in for a newborn session then please try to book early to avoid disappointment! Teddy Bears Picnic Mini Session Morning
19th of August. 10am | 11am | 12pm | 1pm | 2pm | 3pm
I have decided to squeeze in a mini session day for the summer! Things were looking a bit busy over Spring and Early Summer so I really didn’t think it would be possible to fit anything else in but I just couldn’t resist putting this date out there to see who might enjoy a session with their Teddy!

These very special mini sessions are for individual children or siblings and there beloved teddy bears. These sessions are a part of my ‘play outside’ campaign and the location is specifically chosen to celebrate the renovations and Cafe opening at one of my favourite local outdoor locations: Eastcote House Gardens.
If you have had a mini Session with me before you will know that these are a much shorter than average session (half an hour) and they are packaged up with a heavily discounted bundle of 3 digital files and matching 7 x 5″ prints. I will have 6 sessions available on the one day and there will be a rainy day contingency plan just in case we are unlucky with the weather.

Autumn Mini Sessions
Lastly, I have Autumn Mini Sessions coming up in the near future. I have not yet announced the date fully instead I offer a preferential booking service to past clients and anyone signed up to my newsletter. In a few more weeks I will start to advertise the date more publicly.
